Experience Camp St.
Joan from a whole new perspective! Discover the
leader within you by rising to the challenge of a
Group Leader position. Group Leaders and
Leaders-in-Training get a behind-the-scenes look at
what it takes to make Camp St. Joan successful every
year. As a leader, you will learn to work with youth
while developing the leadership skills that
employers and colleges are looking for.
As a Group Leader you will:
• Focus on areas of personal development: building
confidence, time management, activity planning, and
• Develop leadership skills: communication, problem
solving, team building.
• Build your resume.
• Hang out with friends!
Adult staff will place teen volunteers in roles
appropriate for their abilities and personalities. A
teen liaison will work with the teen staff before
and during camp.
Training will be held on July
17 5-9pm for all teen leadership involved at camp.
You must be able to attend this training to
participate in camp.
Teen applicants with less than 2 years of service at
Camp St. Joan or volunteer involvement at St. Joan
must also participate in further training from
3-4:30 on July 17.
